June is Brain Injury Awareness Month
Brain Injury Awareness Month
June is Brain Injury Awareness Month (#BIAM17)

This year's poster features Hailey Harm, a former highly competitive figure skater. She injured herself in her athletic pursuits. In addition to being on BIAM 2017's poster Hailey will be accompanying SBIA Executive Director, Glenda James on a media tour.

Summer staff will once again be doing presentations and displays throughout the summer, but with a large number of them happening in June. Letters, posters and proclamations will be sent out province wide.

Brain Injury Canada will also be joining SBIA this year in working for promotion and education during the month of June. It is our goal to increase brain injury awareness from coast to coast this year.
